I think ragdolls should be implemented one day :)

Yea dude defiantly! I play a game called mortal online which is very similar and they have rag doll. I also think that the graves should be replaced with a small loot bag or you just interact with the corpse to loot it. It would really help immersion.

I agree on corpses instead of gravestones.

Agree also. Though corpses instead of gravestones will give a huge load on your video card ;)

Maybe they could be around for 5-10 minutes and be gravestones afterwards.

Siegbert, 5-10 minutes of intense battle might result in 20-50 corpses and EACH will be calculating ragdoll mechanics in one way or another.

There IS a reason, why you had not seen piles of corpses in previous games before ;)

No ragdolls... Perhaps mutilate corpses? Stick the custom player face on a pike outside your wall to warn his friends? Use his skull as a cup? Make a necklace out of his bones?

Eat them?

Ok, I wasn't thinking about ragdoll but plain unanimated corpse models with respective armor on.

warband has piles of corpses, and it runs just fine, i think say theres a max corspe per area, lets assume its 50 per server (in reality it be much higher)

now, those corpses normally should last about 15 minutes, and after that time they deteriorate, but if the number of corspes goes over 50, then they are just replaced with a bag.

Well, LiF doesn't :P
We surely have to deal with different circumstances here.
