-Double post.

By the time Bobik processes your donation, YO will probably already be released.

Maybe, however if you donate you get access to YO Plus early access to the MMO as its developed and enough credit to move a character off the noob island.

hehe, well that may be true. But over here its only 1952 on Wednesday. So if you get a donation in you would probably get your access, remember its all good up til' the release on STEAM.
At the very least you would be getting your contributor status and access to the MMO stages, and testing.

I have been very impressed with the interaction on these boards, as well as the vision of the devs.

I've joined the donated ranks. Looking forward to the completion of a successful game!

If you are on the fence about donating - JUST DO IT!

I think devs should still offer the possibility to get it all for a donation of 50€ even after YO was officially released on Steam...
Many people still don't know about this game and don't care as much about the YO version but might be interested in the whole product.

Indeed, from all the STEAM I ve been responding to there is a batch of mixed emotions and such.
I would agree it would be nice to offer a further donation package, but I think the plan is to see how the YO EA goes for now.
If that works out, there wont be to much of a need for donation, and then maybe the further access can go to a fun style of competition or such for MMO test? or Maybe a system to give those who went with YO EA a chance to be involved in the MMO process?
Anywho, at this point its probably safer to just say, lets see how this step goes first.

I agree that it would be a nice bundle to keep.

But then everyone that notice LiF:YO on Steam first and buy it there before learning about the MMO will be screwed. Because donating would then mean getting LiF:YO again.

What would you do with two versions of LiF:YO and only one version of LiF:MMO?

Also this:
Jeorg wrote:As Bobik had stated in another thread over on STEAM, no you don't get free access to the MMO.
At this time it is being decided on some form of reward for want of a better word is going to be available. ( IE Some currency or such for the MMO )
Its my understanding, though I may be incorrect that the base MMO is not going to be a purchase anyway. Only the activation of a character to the Mainland full game is. This is still an active thread on the subject.

Aye, I did say that. But that was in reference to the question as to if YO EA buyers get any reward.
Although it 'sort of' applies here to the donors. we know we have access to the testing of the MMO, we do have the program in essence, but its still up in the air as to what our reward would be, as in currency? character or what?
To be honest it does not matter all that much to me at this point. Sure I wont say no to a bit of coin of the realm, or to a character at a reduced ticket or even free, but the overall package of being here to see it grow, test it, break it, cry about it then to see it come to life is actually pretty good to me, knowing that we helped it along a bit is pretty good. But, I will take my cool gold name and a bit of that coin if your handing it out... :D

Just wait no reason to donate this late in you can buy it tomorrow anyway. any progress made today wont be there tomorrow anyway, i mean well you could still explore the map and test what makes what but its just one day.

Assuming that there is a wipe which feels like its common sence that there is going to be one.
