I think by now we all realize that the game is very unstable and even though it is a jewel od a game - it needs much polishing and that requires time. You know it, we know it. We the players supported you even though for an alpha it is a rather pricey game. We're around and ready to test so take our help for what it's worth.
In my personal opinion - and no, I am no game developer - you need to focus your attention not only to fixing the stability of the server. You should look into setting up a way to report a server being down so it can be looked into in a reasonable amount of time. This way at least until the stability is hot fixed you will retain the players who will otherwise quit due to unreliability and your lack of communication.
Secondly, when the servers will stop crashing we need you to have a serious look into the desync that is happening in combat. I had a man swing his axe at me while basically being on my face as in as close as possible - three times and sadly none of them landed. This game has been advertised as wurm online with actual, fun combat so having that Core feature working as intended is the most important thing we need done. Whats the point in grinding crafting when at the end our weapons change nothing?
Thirdly, there is a whole plethora of bugs that need to be fixxed but are Not gamebreaking at this point. For example sometimes after a server restart dead moose go back into skinnable state. It wouldnt be much if they wouldnt also retain the items they had on them earlier, basically duping the skin items. Only the items from skinning were doubled effectively but it still is a dupe.
Last but not least, never stop working on this game as its a diamond in the rough. Have a good day, and hopefully our servers will get a much needed fix.
