Has anyone managed to get breeding to work? I have over 30 Animal lore and I'm currently unable to breed neither my hares nor my chickens. Anyone figured it out yet?

If it's possible I haven't found a way to breed either. I'm over 50 with Animal Lore but I can't do anything with the breeding pens (there is still a cross on the slots).

The animals will sometimes breed voluntarily though. I'm not sure what the conditions are, but if there are enough animals in the coop you might see something like "Little Chicken of quality 36 was born.". I've only seen it once so far.
