I have a 3770k, 660 ti graphics, with good pc specs. I stream the highest graphic intense games with no issues, but for some reason just playing this game whenever I move I slideshow bad..and it is unplayable. Any fix for this? Ive changed settings to loweest possible, and even a config for fps and it isn't just fps issues..it's when I move my mouse is slideshows around. (no my video card isn't overheating)

Never heard of the term slideshowing, I assume you mean ghosting? That's typically a monitor thing to do with low response times.

Slideshowing, as in skipping across the screen like a slideshow...This has NOTHING to do with the monitor as I use 120hz lcd.

do you mean you have low FPS? if so how many FPS are you running on average while playing?

Turn of auto-optimization. The game thinks it knows whats best for your hardware, and continues to 'optimize' it by increasing visual settings. Make sure to set tree detail level to 1

Yep that just sounds like really, really bad FPS. A 660ti isn't the greatest, but it should make the game playable. You have newest drivers installed?

I've got a Geforce GTX 660 without the ti, and an amd phenom 820, so theoretically my system should be worse than yours, but my game absolutely refuses to lag...

Update drivers and lower settings is all I can say though...

It COULD also be internet lag: this IS an online early access game, and if you're playing with so-so internet on a faraway server...

I'm having the same issue with horrible FPS, especially around our little town.

Specs:

Intel Gulftown 980 6 core @3.72 Ghz
12 Gb DDR3 @ 1600
2 780 GTX SLI

I disabled one video card thinking it might be an SLI thing to no avail. The guys I play with have much better FPS on much slower machines. My internet isn't an issue either, very stable at 50/10. Adjusted the video options multiple times but doesn't seem to change FPS much.

So anyone have any ideas or suggestions to increase frames?

same here, i5 2500k @ 4Ghz, HD 7950 @ 1.2Ghz. Lags badly 30-35 fps, sometimes even lower.

Same problem... When i look at threes, a have about 10-15 FPS. No problem with water 60+ fps in all max settings (5 fps in all hight when look at trees).

I7 930 2.8 Ghz (overclocked to 3.5 Ghz)
6 Gb 3 channel DDR 3 1333 (~1800 Mhz overclok)
Asus P6X58D-E motherboard with last BIOS path
Gigabyte GTX 780 ti GV-N78TOC-3GD (675$)

BTW, StarCitizen have 60+ FPS in all high settings And now proplems in other games.
