Rabbits and chickens dying

Post by Naiani » 27 Sep 2014, 04:19

Hi, whenever I put rabbits and chickens in the coop, they die within 20 mins. They age a year in about 5 mins. I have food in the coop, and the chickens will lay one batch of eggs, but as I said, they die of old age within 20 mins. I play on a server with just me and my husband, is there a setting we may have wrong?

server settings:

<animalBFPeriod>XX</animalBFPeriod> <!-- minutes between a breeding check. New harvest, dung and young animals will appear on that tick (range: 1 - 600) -->

If that is too low, I assume not only is the spawnrate greatly increased, but the animals age equally faster.
