steam login needs changing

it wanted to allow my account to be used by a computer in louth

it didn't link me to a login page, it linked me to a page that, if i had continued, would have given life is feudal staff my steam account

That's actually not possible ;)

First you need to link your forum account here: https://lifeisfeudal.com/billing/accoun ... -links.php by clicking 'link with steam account', that will redirect you to steam website where you are either logged in already or need to log in, then you press the OK button and that should redirect you back at the website, since then you will be able to login to forum with one-click if you are already logged in the steam account.

Whole operation is done on steam website so there is no way we had any access to your steam account.

it says it's authorization for another PC to use my account though.

I think I know what are you talking about, sounds like you either didn't log in trough website, you had cleared cache and it doesn't recognize your browser or you are just using different browser. If it's asking for a code sent to your email then it just doesn't recognize your browser and needs authentication that you are owner of that steam account.

it has nothing to do with LIF, it's Steam.
When you login from a different computer you need to provide an auth code that YOU receive in YOUR email. It's a feature to protect your account, that's all.
