Being a recent server owner, provided by Blue Fang Solutions, I've come to see a few things regarding this game which have made me curious as to when they may be implemented.
I've come to realize the game has been developed in 32-bit which means the server tech can only support up to 4Gb of RAM, an amount which 40 people can easily chew through in the matter of a couple hours depending on their activities. So I suppose my first question would be - When might we see a 64-bit conversion/port?
Another thing is that I've been told by a staff at Blue Fang Solutions that we don't have a memory dump/trash as of yet on LiF. There may be one already implemented and not working properly, I'm not sure how to look into this sort of thing however this seems that it would be an excellent resolution to staying in 32-bit.
Both of these seem as though they may resolve server hosting issues in the game's current state. I understand this is an alpha game at the moment, and we'd been warned to not purchase the game if we do not enjoy supporting buggy/alpha games, however seeing the game in its current status I believe it's ready for this.
If we could get a word back from a developer relating to these two inquiries it would be splendid, and put at least my mind to ease.
On another note, freaking awesome game guys, keep up the great work!
