Big stone house can't accommodate more than one player

Post by Hakjimmy » 29 Sep 2014, 02:56

We just built the big stone house that allegedly could accommodate 10 players. But it turned out that only 1 player could claim and open the house. Is it a bug or intended this way?

Obviously a bug.

Have you posted it in the bug reporter? maybe best.

Has anybody tested out the large 3 story house? I would be well annoyed as we are about to complete one that should allow all 16 of our village members to spawn inside our fortified stone walls.

What you have to do is, unclaim.. everyone binds to the house then reclaim. This owner can only open or close the door, and server reset automatically closes it.

But at least the multiple binds are mostly useable.

Dont get trapped in the house!

I see. Thats a huge pain with the number of ppl we have in our village.
This needs to be the next thing they fix besides the bugs.

Which is a shame because it is guilds and clans that will keep this game alive. After you have made everything you want to make, and got bored of the combat, what else is there to play for.

Agree it is a major issue ... but it's Alpha ... except these things to be a low priority.

Right now "Claiming" is just a half thought feature to prevent theft.

Hopefully something better will be implemented sooner or later.

Only one person can claim something. 10 people can choose to set as house. Which is different from claiming something. Hope this helps.

There are also features that are not available to you in this version that you will only have access to in the LiF massively multiplayer official servers. Features like guild systems or claims are not implemented in LiF:YO so you will not be able to experience some of the greatest elements of the game like guild wars and sieges, this will be available only on LiF official servers. You can enjoy LiF:YO features and stick with your friends on your own server or join someone else’s and experience what else LiF:YO has to offer. http://lifeisfeudal.com/LiFYO this is not the main MMO and there will be things that are missing. That is just the way this game works. I really wish we could destry things we build or at least have a decay on things like Gravestones and Drop bags. Maybe getting a way to save my SERVER to the Favorites tab or to have friends show what server they are in at least. These are my main concern at the moment.

Your post is a mess, please use the quotes when quoting something/someone.

Also, I wouldn't be supprised if a small version of the guild feature is added later anyway.
At least I am positive that the devs will change their minds a little on the subject later.

If not, then there is always modding.
Once modding becomes available, I am 100% sure that a "guild" mod will be made if the devs don't.

As it stands this is the only 'game' available to us, the people who bought the Alpha. They should at least implement this to allow for satisfaction of their playerbase who are at least TRYING to work together with these limited features.

I don't understand how this isn't a top priority.
