every time i try to join a game i get the out of memory error someone help please.

How much RAM do you have? How much is being used when you're starting the game? The error means just that, you don't have enough memory hehe.

More than likely not. The game can use up to 2GB by itself. If you have "3.25GB" usable I'm going to assume you're running a 32-bit OS. You can "unlock" the rest of your RAM by upgrading to a 64-bit OS since 32-bit OS cannot use more than 3.33GB of RAM (physically impossible for Windows).

Compatible with 64 bit and running a 64 bit OS are two completely different things. CPUs have been 64 bit compatible for 10 years lol.
