Can't load game

Hey all,

I'm at a bit of a loss here. I have ensured all drivers are updated, DirectX is installed, C++, etc. etc. When I launch the game I will get a grey launch window then it crashes.

i7-4770k
32GB RAM
GTX 690 (tried SLI on and off)
Primary 30" 2560x1600
Secondary 27" 1440x2560

Hey just wondering if you managed to fix your problem? My friend just installed the game and he has a very similar issue. He can't even launch the game

Nope, no resolution yet. I've spent a good hour researching, trying different things, etc. Going to contact Steam soon for support/refund.

Revv, does your friend have dual GPU's? I'm coming to the conclusion this game doesn't like dual GPU's/DX11 cards.

No I don't think he does, mine is a DX11 card though it's the GTX 770 OC Ed.
His crashes on start up so he can't even get on the main menu

Also, cm_yo_server.exe crashes which would lead me to believe it isn't a video card/driver issue.

Okay his is working he did the following:
Reinstalled vc redistributables 2012 after doing a verify of his game files in steam, try that

The game comes with 2008 and 2010... C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Life is Feudal Your Own\_CommonRedist\vcredist I already had 2012 installed but did a repair on it. I also installed 2013 and still no luck :(

Damn I think he said he deleted some config file too, one that holds settings for the sound/gfx settings I think but I couldn't get a specific answer on that as he had to go offline and hasn't come back on yet.

Please let me know what he did. I've looked over the files, installed Windows components, etc. with other players and can't figure out what could be causing this.
