Hello all, I am new to all this server stuff however I do have a dedicated server up and running. Now that the patch cam out I am trying to figure out how to upgrade without losing all the hard work of the group. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Shutdown server. Let Steam update. Start up server.

Steam may even have updated already, in which case you just have to restart.

Steps may be different for third party hosting providers.

Yes, I was over thinking it because I did not want to lose the data. All I had to do was close dedicated server and restart and all was good. I had a power outage today and I think I accidentally wiped the server since I am new to the whole database thing. I ran the new file query and think that killed it. Trying to figure out how to backup my database so I cannot continue to screw things up. thanks for the comment.
