Forge and Anvil glitched

Hello all. I've crafted my first Forge and Anvil, and much to my dismay, it seems unusable. The temperature gauge started out full without any fuel, but I cannot light it or use the interface at all. It also seems to hold more than 100 units.

Anyone ever encounter this and/or have any fixes?
