Direct changes in database

Post by Vianns » 05 Oct 2014, 13:34

Hello,

I'm hosted by Blackbox servers.
I'd like to know if I can edit some values in database without risking instability or corrpution.
For exemple, since GM commands only allow the GM to raise his skills, can I edit players' skills in database ?
Other exemple: Can I edit a player's name in database ?

Thank you.

Yes, you can, in the table "character" you can change the name and find the character ID. In the table "skill_type" you can find the ID's of the skills. In the table "skills" you can find the matching character ID and skill ID to change the "skill amount". To be safe, only do it when the character in question is offline.
