Not sure how I managed it, but I have managed to drag Toolbar 2 on top of Toolbar 1 and out of the list of toolbars above. I now cannot see more than 5% of toolbar 1 underneath 2. Any guidance available on how to remove the toolbar 2 on top?

Aye. Click the top layer-ed bar and drag that off.
