After this last update, featuring an improved server search engine.... I cannot play! No servers show up in my server list. all it says is:
receiving info complete, 0/0 items shown.... which sounds about right to me as I see zero servers. I cant play on my own world either.
I have tried re-installing the game, and turning off my firewall.
Nothing changes, and I have no clue what else I can do.

This bug has already been reported to mantis.
Meanwhile you can direct connect to a server if you know the ip, either trough the new "direct connect"-button or trough console command joinToRemoteServer("xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:28000","")

Good to hear that it has already been reported, but how on earth can i find out the ip to my server? it has no website or nothing that I could look for on the web. ive tried searching for any server ip but found none, so the new direct button does not help me at the moment. It would be nice to use that after i can get back on my server and badger the people there for the server ip. But gods know when that will happen.

I have the same problem however I cannot direct connect at all even tried the console command to connect get the server loading page and the connection times out every time.

I'm having the same issues. No server lists, direct connect doesn't work and console command times out.

Strange, maybe someone with this bug (and enough experience) can make a quick wireshark capture and see what is happening
[Edit] someone in mantis also wrote it was his firewall "bugging" after the update, look out for that too
