Whatever makes it easiest for the devs to progress the game towards their ultimate goal.

Exploit fixes.

Most bugs are merely annoyances, but the relog/stuck exploit and floating logs are game breakers if you try to have a serious game.

1. Clan membership / sharing access to things like gates/houses.

This is IMO, by far, the singlemost important thing which will deter growth of the community.

2. Anything exploit/bug related.

3. Implement non-implmented stuff

4. Expand content.

The thing that's near and dear to my heart is melee combat. So I'd start with this...

there will be game breaking bugs for quite a while but I got the feeling that right now people regard LiF as a medieval building simulator rather than this all encompasing sandbox MMO that many of us wish it will become one day.

If people saw that combat looks indeed fun and interesting I think the attention will be yet much higher. That would be the case for people like me at least...

You should add falling through the ground to that as well. My group has found that you can pile dirt on one side of the crack to widen the gap to allow easier access to that area. Once underground, you can simply swim into any enemy base and relog.

Bugs:

1. There is no reason to be able to place things above/below ground level or in water. Disable the option, should be easy. No more log exploits or moving items in the sky griefing.
2. Disable superman vertical combat jumps.
3. Fix /stuck

Content:

1. Dont leave claim mechanics till later do it now. Even if its just a variable in claim length.
2. Fix herbalism and flux, it is loathed.
3. Make it so naked isnt the best combat method, sort bleed and armour ouy.

I think the most important thing we need is to be able to share buildings!!!!!!!

We have 6 guys - each makes their own stuff - and when a few are gone, we cant access stuff the others need!!!

What is the point of making a game that REQUIRES sharing everything, and then not having access to each others stuff to be able to do anything??????

This is SOOOOO frustrating and should be fixed as a patch INTERMEDIATELY!! It is ridiculous hou would even release an ALPHA without something SO basic and important as that!!

PLEASE get that fixed as FAST as Possible - it is beyond ridiculous to try and do things whenever people are not there who have what you need in their locked house!! Its really turning me to wanting to play and wait until it get fixed!

Thank you! :O: :O:

1.) Adding the ability to exit to the main game menu instead of having to completely exit the game.

2.) More wild life.

3.) Big livestock (pigs, cows, sheep)

None of them (and did you take terraforming to 100?)
I'd like that they add the content that is already planned for YO, not something that is in the users plans. Skills missing, animals missing and balance the existing features. That includes having tunnels crumble without support beams, since it's already planned.

My personal list of needs as I play:
#1 Ability to place objects into a house
#2 Ability to share a building (friends, clan, guild)
#3 Ability to remove/destroy objects
#4 Combat Hitboxes
#5 Loopsound bug
#6 Animal corpse decay (I run through the forest and everywhere are dead animals O.o)
#7 As a last: Balancing of inventory spaces (a ground bag is more worth then a warehouse if a normal house is available!)

Completely review the farming/herbalism tree to make them fun to play and not a necessary chore. (also add missing animals)

Combat. Fixing ranged weapons, polishing the combo / fight mechanics and adding Horses that can be mounted and fought with. This is what will keep people playing: fun, skill based, competitive PvP.
The combat trees also don't make sense: why would I have to use scale armor to learn how to use a shield ? Why must I first use swords to be able to use maces and axes ?

Then claim/siege system for clans.
