Hello, I am not sure this is where I should be posting this question... but here it is.

On the topic of the "unable to access the local server" issue, I was wondering if there have been any DEV approved fixes for this? I have done the delete daemon fix, it works... but somehow the issue always comes back within a couple days. Th e only problem with this fix is that I have to start a new character every time. I have read the posts on the sql brutality fix, and noticed the Devs aren't too fond of the idea, as it may cause more issues in the future than it fixes.

I really just want to know 2 things: has there been a permanent fix discovered for this? is there a way to fix it without losing characters?

I guess make sure you're exiting your server in a normal way instead of just X'ing out of it? Use the Quit(); command in its console... That allows the server to shut down gracefully.

Yeah, I thought that might have been causing the problem... and got that answer in my other post. Thank you though for confirming my suspicions.

Do you know of any way to fix the issue without losing my character? I made it much further this time and don't want to have to restart yet another one... this would be my 4th one in a month!

TO ANYONE WHO HAS THIS PROBLEM...TRY THIS!!!

I did this fix and it not only let me back into my world.... but I still had my character in tact!!!

The only thing I had to do differently was place the file he tells you to get manually in the "Life is Feudal" game folder. I also kept a copy of it in the folder he asks you to make, just in case.

But it worked and now I don't have to start over again!!
