Whenever i try to create or re-create a map, the server tool that makes the map stops responding.
I tried to reinstall the game on steam, no dice

anyone got any advice?

I can't help you but I am having the same problem. My world was working fine for the first 3 days, now when I click create new world it just says the server stopped responding. Hopefully they fix this

I finally decided to try uninstalling an reinstalling and it worked, however ive only played for 5 minutes since its "fixed" (had to go to work p)
On a side note the newest patch has made the game look beautiful with its increased fps

Well crap, the trees didnt spawn on my server so I tried the solution and now the same problem is back. Dont want to start all over again so i really hope they make this their next priority cuz im getting tired of patch after patch coming out with the problem still here every time >:(

You need to be careful to close the server window after you stop the game, the problem comes when you stop the computer while the server window is still open.

There is a fix that involves some mysql tools, it's explained in the other thread, mentioned already here.
