Reproduced and reported:

Let's hope it'll be fixed in the next patch. The correct model is not present in either the current client or server files, so we can't do a quick fix ourselves.

Try building one right next to it, maybe they connect? a flat one tho, think it should work and flatten the top of it

That's not how the system works.

Iam having the same problem, ive tried everything flattened downwards all around the wall aswell, and tried different hights. Realy strange couse i managed to make a upwards going wall.
This problem got to me when i was gonna go down.

Also my diagonal stone fence is mutch larger(in hight) now compared to regular stone fence witch looks realy strange.

I'm having the same issue.. but.. this is what I've found. It is ONLY for "Flatten with an UPWARD Slope" that it does the funky top of the castle wall. When I do "Flatten with a DOWNWARD Slope".. the castle wall works fine. So.. it is a Graphic Error that needs to be changed.

Perhaps the xml file is pointing to the wrong graphic image? I am rather happy to see that there is an image for a damaged wall. :)

Yes, this was already reported in the initial Issue:

"The model castle_wall_angleR.dts is a duplicate of the model castle_wall_angleR_dmg.dts. Players who build a right-sloped Castle Wall will thus get the damaged version."

(Right-sloped = downward sloped)

No, I checked this before I submitted the issue. There's simply no undamaged version of that sloped wall model in the game's files, the one with the proper name is a copy of the damaged version.

I have noticed that depending what direction the Sloped Castle wall is facing it will show up correct or damaged.

East and South show up fine
North and west show up damaged

I did not pay attention as to weather i was sloping up or down

I will do another test to confirm with slopes up or down

*** New Test Info ***

I just did a new test and have confirmed that it does not matter if its a up or down slope. It matters what direction the slope is going (N,S,E,W) and what castle wall direction (N,S,E,W)

North Slope = South side is higher then north side
South Slope = North side is higher then South side
East Slope = West side is higher then East side
West Slope = East side is higher then West side

A North Slope will Display a East facing UN-damaged wall and a West facing Damaged wall.

A South Slope will display a West facing UN-damaged wall and a East facing Damaged wall.

A East Slope will Display a South facing UN-damaged wall and a North facing Damaged wall.

A West Slope will Display a North facing UN-damaged wall and a South facing Damaged wall.

Those are my findings

In case my words above are confusing In the photo i attached the Left side walls are on a East Slope and the Right walls are on a North Slope

My result is the same as Atroxkeep.

Up/down slope has no bearing.
