Its the new year, and we got an emote patch.

They said that they are working on a guild system, it might come with some form of a claim system.

It should be coming soon ! Be patient. Devs have also the right to have fun on christmas / new year (if it's the reason why it's still not here ). But you guys should be able to wait a week or two..

And this is why it is so hard to get any type of estimate out on new features from any game developer.

Several months ago Bobik, in a video, as a side comment, stated they were going to try to get out an improved claim system by the end of the year.

That comment got posted here (I did, possibly others). Then the Devs stated on facebook (I believe), that they had worked out the details as to how the claim system would work (as in , have written it out), and were beginning to code. I believe another post indicated that they were continuing to work on it.

Now several folks are whining that its the new year, where's our claim system. And people wonder why there is no written list of what is being worked on and when the target date is.

Well, man, I do think you are 100 % correct on this one. If the devs had released a roadmap, however detailed, and had promised certain things at certain dates and didnt deliver on time, people would go mental and accuse the devs of being conmen, of downgrading LiF in comparison to the MMO and hell would break loose.

As Azzerhoden said, they keep this info to themselves for a reason.

People be crying about getting some kind of a heads up about the next patch, then when they get one they're crying about when exactly is it coming, then when it doesn't get released on time they're crying why is it not here yet...

It's a fair expectation if they mention this with 2 weeks headups, that we'd expect to have it by now.

Am I anxiously awaiting an improved claim system, more structured around what will appear down the road in the MMO? Absolutely. I'd also like to get more frequent updates as to status of various features.

Hardly time to start getting dramatic about it though. When it comes in comparison to other MMOs, Bobit has been very forthcoming. So I attribute any non-information to just being busy and celebrating the holidays.
