MSVCR100.dll crash

Post by Crispy » 31 Dec 2014, 09:08

This thing has more bugs than a 4000 watt flood lamp on a warm summers night,
I have had a dedicated server running several times on my server but took a break for a while as there was many bugs in the game and database, Two days ago I had a request from one of my community members and his mates to put it back up, so I downloaded the latest version and set it all up, had a few issues with the microsoft redist files but soon got it all working, then tried a database transfer, well lets not go there, anyways performed a server restart to day and then could not for the life of me get the server to run, screenshot of error below, so in the end after many failed attempts I decided to start over, so I reinstalled my server OS, Steam, all the redist files, LiF and so on, clean database, yep it ran again, then server box crashed for some reason, upon restart had the same issue as above, (MSVCR100.dll), so reinstalled all the redist files and then it started up again, went away for about 2 hours and reinstalled my Arma 3 Epoch server to a seperate drive and started that, yep all was ok, but had to run restart on box to reconfigure a few files, now all I get is the same error as above, and cant seem to fix it now at all, yet Arma 3 which also requires the same files works. I even stopped and shut down the Arma sever to see if there was a conflict there, but the problem still persists.
I hope that this gets fixed soon, it seems that even a look in the wrong direction can bring this game to it's knees and make it fail to work.

I fixed this on mine by rebuilding my machine with windows 7 64 bit instead of 32 bit
