Recently moved to a new host pingperfect. After a few days we noticed the animals spawns would not work unless the server was restarted. Server was working great had fast load ins and was playing smooth but the animal spawns were not working, and then 2 days ago people started having issues logging in the server ( they just sat at the loading screen) and around midnight the server crashed. The host was unable to bring the server back up, so he reset the server and loaded are database in. The server was up but no one could login again. We ended up wiping the server, the host said something was corrupted in the database but they could not pinpoint it. It is now day 2 of the server and once again the animal spawns are not working. (The first server lasted only 2 weeks) Has anyone experienced this?

What server is it that your on, because im having the same problem on the server that Im on.

Yea, what Lannater said. We are experiencing what sounds like similar beginning stages of what your explaining. animals have not spawned for as long as I can recall on this server without a reboot.. and now as of last night we are experiencing issues logging in. Now granted the server was at max capacity however the users that were hung at the login were showing in the players list. We will closely monitor this and see if it gets progressively worse

I don't think the animals have ever spawned. I've played with the spawn rate in the database, and that doesn't seem to help anything.

What provider do you guys use? Do you think this is the host's problem, and how long has the server been up?

server provider? I have no clue. The GMs do a very poor job at removing buildings/stumps and logs. if I took the time to count how many furnaces are around the lake.. I'd guess its somewhere close to 50. Its very similar all around the main island. Its littered with abandoned buildings and fields of stumps. Its only a matter of time before the server becomes unplayable and requires a wipe.

Yea this one is nothing like that, We don't allow excessive mining, stump removal is mandatory, abandoned buildings and stuff like wattle fences are old furnances are removed, it was a pretty clean server not sure went wrong.
