Not sure if this is by design or a problem. I made a 5x5 plowed area. Put a waddle fence around it (starting to replace with a stone wall but *shrug*), right-click a block sow my seeds. Just starting out so I didn't have many, planted a row of wheat and a row of carrots, all within the 5x5 each seed on its own square.
What I get is this:
The rows seem staggered, some are above where the fence is and others are shifted down.
Kinda defeats the purpose of putting a fence around something.
Any idea? that I've done something wrong is an acceptable answer, just want to get'er'done.
