Does anyone know a fix for this? When I click on create a world, then start, both screens pop up (the one for the game and then the smaller one for the server) and within seconds a message pops up saying "Life is Feudal: Your Own Server Has stopped working

For me is the same, also say, not locate local server...

Hey this is exactly what ive been lookin for an gatherin by the amount of other people on steam and other forums who have had this problem and just given up you dev may want to give it a quick glance and see waht you can come up with

Hi, no fix but an alternative.
If you have enogh Ram (~8GB) make your own dedicated server on your Machine. The setup is not to hard and its work very good!
