Overall love the game for alpha and can't wait to see where it goes. I'm proud to invest in a game with this kind of vision and versatility.
I'd like to offer my suggestions. Just my opinion of how the game could be improved while it is in this early stage.
I'd scrap the whole alchemy, potions, thing. Too much clutter, too much time, just annoying. Just expand on healing. Using silk/wool/linen bandages. Create a way to heal self. I am blown away by the ideas of using hammer and saw in healing. I think its hilariously feudal and love it. I don't think potions is feudal. Just my opinion.
I'd scrap mounts. I just see so much that can go wrong with this with balancing. We already have a recall feature. I like it on foot. Maybe adding additional recall area's once you get your piety up. Just make it so you can't recall to a claimed area.
I'd improve armor damage negating. A naked guy should have no prayer against a guy in armor.(not because I think its realistic but more for risk/reward) I'd suggest first set of armor 45% damage reduction then increments of 15 for next sets.
I'm not sure how the tradehouse will work but looking forward to it. I like the idea of a dropoff and not something that you can get remotely personally. I think it will add experiences to game. Doing this with careful thought could add so much to game or completely mondain it.
Expand on animals, hunting, and pets. I think everyone liked this. I'd make locks able to make with iron. I like the idea of food adding healing and/or skill cap bonus or crafting bonus's. Currently once you get your skills max its worthless other than just to stay full.
Plow seems so off when plowing?? Something needs tweaked with this.
Tracking should lead you to closest animal. Be cool if you could track players too by name.
Add a tailor shop
Killing someone who accepted party should not give you alignment loss. Maybe a duel feature or something to train. The bug of hitting someone's hand and insta killing them gives me a fear of no end.
Anyways just my initial thoughts from starting out on the game. Hope you guys don't abandon it and complete it. Good luck and have fun.
