So, I recently bought LiF. From what I've seen: Stunning. The issue is, i haven't seen the game. I constantly get locked in a "Waiting for server" and it never loads. And I cant even exit without restarting my laptop. I click exit and it just disappears...
Is it me or is this a bug with the patch? The even happens when I try to make a server.

The hanging while loading is an on going issue. Very frustrating for a lot of us. Believe it has something to do with the server, as it doesn't progress past a certain point. There are other posts where multiple logs have been posted, as well as bugs listed in Mantis.

No response yet from the devs as to whether it is even being worked on.

The client issue with exiting is 'normal' behavior when ever there is a server connection issue. I consider that just a 'yet to be developed' handling issue. You can stop the client by shutting down the process in the task manager.

We are aware of this troubling issue and we are working on a solution. We will do our best to fix it as soon as possible.

This happens to me all the time. If you pressed connect button and see that "Waiting for server..." message more than 3 seconds. Do not wait anymore, it wont connect.

Solution:
Close LiF Client process via task manager. Start the Game again. Try to connect. If "Waiting for server..." message is more then 3 seconds again. Repeat... Usually it takes me 3-5 attempts to successfully connect to a server.

The very worst I had, like 8 attempts. But that was only once.
