Does anyone know the proper way to use this command?

I'm using the following:

/SETPLAYERSKILL PlayersName 2 +100

I've even tried this:

/SETPLAYERSKILL PlayersName Prospecting +100

I get an error: Can't set this skill.

/SETPLAYERSKILL name skillID/skillName +-Amount
add or subtract skill value of the player with the given name, Amount=0...100

You should try writing the number without the +
