I've been running a dedicated server for like a week now. Semi regular restarts in the morning. It was initially set to private, but I changed it to public so my friends could find it. I have yet to see it appear even once in the server browser list. They use direct connect, but I don't like handing out my IP, and it could change causing them to not be able to connect until I give them my new IP.
Anything I can do about this?

Giving out an address is pretty standard and required for people to connect. Renting from a service provider will fix that.
