but yeah if you haven't played a real sandbox mmo yet, you might wanna check that out, might be this week.
Because I think people who have only played mmos where you progress by killing monsters or completeing quests, will be in for a shock. which includes games like darkfall.
Salem was poop, tell em to go play Haven & Hearth, you know as well as any of us that H&H trumps Salem. Not only that but LiF and H&H are like mirror images of one another, with of course the exception of isometric view/3rd person.(there are some differences here and there, but these games are nearly one in the same)
I wouldnt say its a requirement to play, but it will certainly give you an idea of what to expect in LiF and i certainly recommend it.
If people havent realized it from the dev stream(im sure they havent) half the place holders in the game are from H&H lol.

you arent going to learn anything from Chivalry that will help you in this game lol. You are better off playing warband or *shudders* war of the roses/vikings. The attacking and blocking will be very similar to those, and will support you far greater then the game mechanics of chivalry, which is just one button click timing based.
