brand new here so if this is the wrong section, pls pardon and direct me.

just bought the game today and I am tryin to see how to find a good private server.

from what I gleamed on the forums, the public servers are not stable? so the best bet is to go for a private server. Is that true?

when looking for a server, where can I find info about it, like how long it runs, does it have crashes or downtimes?

What I would like to find is a server where I can join as an indivuidal and then play at making friends and join an existing village in the game. but my game time varies as I work 2nd shift Chicago time. so a 24/7 server would suit me nicely as well as having a good euro/ausse playerbase.
