Snaring animals

Post by Tom12leggett » 19 Dec 2014, 17:03

probably a silly question, but if youre on a server with no animals can you still catch peacful animals like chickens and hares? do you just place a snare anywhere and hope for the best? or is there a certain amount of skill and planning required?

I have not tested that myself, but I would assume yes. The chickens and hares are not like wolfs and moose running around, more like place holder items you get via traps. Hope it helps, I have not played for a long time, so I could be wrong.

It would only make sense that you still could snare animals as they're not really part of the "Animals" category where you have to set a limited number for them. Plus without animals and snare animals you can't have any leather which is a big part of the game after all...
