SOLO PLAYERS / SKILL CAP / DON'T YOU WANT MY $$$ ?

Post by Maury.dams » 09 Jun 2018, 16:34

Hello,
This topic might have been posted already, I couldn't find.

I am a solo player, I like to put my building where I want without begging for an agreement ro whatever. I don't want neither to be dependant on 2 other players that stopped playing just to plant a tree.

You will ask me why play on a MMO and not YO ? on YO, the map is small, the servers get wipped when you just finished your 3rd building and after 3 months nobody on the server.

I could be on the same map as you, exchanging, trading, playing together. In other games, I use to make alliances with other solo players and we kick asses of agressive guilds... But when the group fun is over, I can still build my house, harvest, cut trees and so on.

So my question is, why is that so important to have a skill cap ?
Answer : to make people play together... Do you have a world peace and love, share your life with the community in this tough world mission ?
What does it change if I have my own claim (not the 10x10) and I am part of the players ?

Some people may know EVE online started in 2003. One of the first and most succesfull MMO.
EVE : 25K players connected everyday since 15 years.
LIF MMO : 5K ?

Here is my point : in EVE, you can learn all skills even if it will take years.
Why don't you do that here ? Many solo players would love to join, solo play, make alliances, trade, be here for the guilds to crash and pvp with them and give you 10 $ a month !

Honestly I don't see any good logical argument vs this.
Just le me know when it changes, I will be happy to pay my $ to play this nice game !

In early medieval society, most simple farmers were unable to plan an advanced castle. Every single work, such as making arrows, was done by specialized craftsmen. They weren't carpenters, no, they called themself arrowsmiths. A guild of its own. And an arrowsmith did not build wheels either. The wheelwright was responsible for that. You see, it wouldnt make sense to do it all by one Character.

So, go buy yourself some more characters. It's worth it!

@Bitbox: Please add some ingame books and paper! So we can sent letters, share quests and write down history by our own.
