Can anyone tell me a good way to level herbalism? I can never seem to find any herbs. Also wondering if cleaning out a coop is the only way to level animal lore. Or can you slaughter them too?

Herbalism. You'll need a pestle and mortar. That aside, right click the ground and hit search for herbs.

When the bar goes through one cycle, hit esc and look for flowers that weren't there before.

Just Right Click the flower and then click gather the herb.

when you have a few herbs, right click the pestle and mortar and click mix a preparation.

Drag the herbs into the given slots and mix.

This will ONLY work if both herbs share a common trait so, collect A LOT of herbs.
