Ok, so I did the workaround by downloading EU renaming folder to NA. I actually was able to make a character and get to the main island.

Crossing a mountain when all controls stopped working but I could still tab to type in chat boxes so I decided to exit and reload.

Now before I load back into the world I get some error about "CRC, need repair". So I exit and go back to launcher, select NA hit repair and I get connection refused.

If anyone knows another work around please let me know

EDIT 1: trying to repair EU then copy and pasting everything back over again to see if that works.

Isn't that sad that these are the steps we need to do in a game that's in "open beta" with no wipe? I'm giving up on all this BS to be able to play for 10 minutes and then repeat the process of deleting/renaming files.

Ya I can't even get back in by redownloading the EU files and renaming them anymore. This is the error I get every time now.

I have the same error. I believe if you ran into server 25 region it is broken there and you cant do anything to fix it. It must be done by an admin. I ran from server 19 north and hit server 25 and all is now lost well until they fix it.

I didn't try to cross to another server. Just moved from the snowy north area down south. Crashed while going over a mountain.

There no give a shit, I suspect, this has been the issue sense the servers opened this morning. Working on 14 hours later and the still cant figure out how to let you connect tp update server

The Issue is this,

No one can consistently connect to the update server, which means you cant download, update or repair the game.

The workaround doesn't stay working.


It should have been fixed hours ago, but I suspect the slow response to fixing it is to keep pop low on the server. no MMO survives long if people cant play it...

Nine. Times. I have uninstalled and downloaded the installer. Cant even download the game due to "refusal error". Paid for a game pack to see if that was the reason. Still cant download game. Must...play...MMO...

It seems like the EU thing worked only when I didn't change nodes, but now I cannot connect with two characters due to node changes. I can understand why this EU workaround thing isn't meant to be a clean fix.

Ya, i'm actually playing on EU instead since I can't seem to play NA. Decent connection so far, only crashed 1 time
