Hi,

I often watch for new content from a few Youtubers. I really like Frankieonpcin1080p, PsiSyndicate, Rhinocrunch, Sacriel42, and De4dCert. I know PewDiePie and JackFrags also have a large following. I hope this helps. Cheers.

I just commented in a video of Ripper X about LiF and he responded he was interested. Bobik should go and talk to him.

Just the thought of RipperX making a LiF-video is already hilarious in its setup :D

We were in contact via my exguildie, who is a part of Mercs now (RipperX is from Mercs). I'll try to get in touch with him.

Surrealbeliefs is my favorite, second to Angry Joe. Not sure if he does early access but he plays Mount and Blade and Total War alot so I'm sure he'd like this game...

I think Skallagrim might want to help, his channel isn't sctrictly about games, he posted some gameplays there however. And what is important, he is really a cool guy. There is a link to his channel:
https://www.youtube.com/user/SkallagrimNilsson/

I also like Nerd³, he plays all sorts of games so I see no reason why he wouldn't like to try this one. He's got quite an audience so if he decided to help, that would most likely do a lot. Channel:

The Yogscast are popular and even if they don't like the game they still have fun with everything they try, resulting in a positive - and honest - promotion.

James Allen from Outofeight.info is obscure but he does long gameplay video reviews, serene and adult (different audience from pewdiepie).

My favorite is Kripparrian so far, but he will be only interested in the MMO release. When the time comes where the server has longer uptimes I absolutely recommend to contact him.
https://www.youtube.com/user/Kripparrian/

And the following are the biggest german gaming youtubers I know of:
https://www.youtube.com/user/GermanLetsFail/
http://www.youtube.com/user/DoktorFroid/
http://www.youtube.com/user/PietSmittie/
http://www.youtube.com/user/Moondye7/
http://www.youtube.com/user/SarazarLP/
http://www.youtube.com/user/Gronkh/

Also I recommend handing out 3+ keys per youtuber for their friends which might be required for their recordings.

Agreed with Angry Joe. https://www.youtube.com/user/AngryJoeShow

I find his channel very informative across more than one genre, entertaining to say the least, but his fondness of every genre which includes competitive mmo's does carry some credibility for many.

Gopher has about 200k subs, he mainly does modded games like skyrim and fallout, but he is really into immersion of video games so this might be up his alley. He hasn't done a mmo let's play though so unsure if he would do it. I feel like he would have a great accent to the game play of this game.

I do know Bashur is very interested in your game and wants to get in contact with you guys but hasnt been able to it seems. He has over 1 million subscibers and mostly does minecraft videos but he did a small series on Wurm Online and when he did Wurms got a big population boost until he and his community had stop playing because the community in Wurm were d*cks. So seeing as the community here doesnt seem to be like the one in Wurm and LiF seems like it will turn out to be a better game then Wurm I think his fans will follow him into LiF just like they did in Wurm.

I've got the personal contact info for Angry Joe and crew. We're actually setting up a thing with them to play on SSR's Life is Feudal:Your Own dedicated server once it's stable and will give a good impression.

+1 for Markee, he made UO Stratics a pretty incredible fansite back in the day. Used to be a household name and one of the original MMO celebrities.

FrankieonPCin1080p vote as well. My favorite Arma mod youtuber.
Sometimes reading forums or global chat is like reading a book called "Baby's First Game Test". Does no one understand the concept of early access alpha testing? I swear, 'some people's children...'

Reddit has taken notice in /r games
http://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/ ... realistic/
Upvote for more publicity, sort of feel conflicted for gaining more players and fame so early on tho, its an double edged sword sure it will be a big boost but games pretty early in developement still.

Nothing to do with youtubers reddit is sorta big.

To be fair, Bash had a history with Wurm before that series, and there was additional drama added in some of the choices made by Rolf (Owner/developer of Wurm) which went directly against hard "rules" for the staff which had been upheld for almost a decade.

Yeah the community lashed out at Bash, but there was some intentional drama stirring on both sides of that argument.

Personally, I'd say avoid the potential drama, but he could bring in a few players who might get past the "Mine Craft" mentality. A few of the people who joined Wurm stayed after everything blew over, and from my understanding, are still there now.

For actually making an item, you could try starting a task "on screen" do a creative cut/edit (letting your audience know you're doing this) and cut to the last couple of actions to complete it to show the final product (weapons/housing/etc...)

For resource gathering, you show the full process for 1 of the items, and again do the bulk of the work off camera.

Or get a group of friends together and do a "group play" or even stream the game so people can ask questions while you're doing things. Just some of the strategies I've seen used in "slow paced" games that are still entertaining to watch.

Besides, there are more than a few people who actually enjoy watching a full 2hr process as long as the person playing is having fun.

People have probably already said this but Simon and Lewis of Yogscast would be best. They were highly influential in spreading the initial popularity of Minecraft.
Totalbiscuit is another favorite but he would likely not accept this game in its current unfinished state.
We need someone who would spend more time on the game than just a simple review and also be willing to forgive the fact that it's still in alpha

I Would love to do a Youtube Series based on this game.

I saw it a few weeks ago on steam. It went straight on my wish list.
A few youtuber friends of mine that I have mentioned the game to also like the idea. So I came here to find out if it is fairplay to make youtube videos for our channels and make money from adverts on those videos.

I am glad to see this post here, I would like to put myself forward to play LiF for youtube. My account on these forums has my email address linked, please contact me there to develop something.

(Mostly minecraft videos, so my viewers would like this game)

I discovered this game from Worth a Buy. Usually he rants about everything and absolutely hates console ports, but most of the time tells it like it is.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nntUxJgdWR0

His best review and one that made him briefly famous was his X-Rebirth review.
