I have managed to get the settings to where the fps is reasonable.
But after a few minutes of play the game will crash, going to a 'crash-log' upload (hope you are getting this). So it would be fine if this wasn't happening.

A second similar issue, is that the game 'freezes', where I can't move or walk around, but can still use inventories and panels. Then have to disconnect and log back in to fix. Possible this one is just a server latency problem, I dont know.

I would recommend you uninstall all previous LiF content both Steam and manually at c:/Program Files x86/Steam/SteamApps/Common.
Download it again and install a fresh game.

It worked - at least - for me.
