Some people may not want to play with 10-100 people in their group and for that that have to live in fear of things being robed which is fine until you have a wall to help somewhat. What I find difficult is how fast things decay for smaller groups that are not allowed that make a claim. It feels like a punishment for not joining up in a guild and all it's political views.
I think small groups can add alot to the game and kingdoms acting like smaller houses that can swear allegience to them, lets say we have a small group of 3 to settle near a mine of a big guild and can act as keepers and watchdogs while not being too close to the main guild, a first line to be attacked and asked for help for a payment..a way to add gameplay..
Sorry for the mess/rant..
-maybe a smaller group claim to protect somewhat with no item protection but where things built dont decay like in the "wild" but it needs to be claimed every 48 hours or so or things will decay, it would allow for a small group to build up but if they break up it can return back to nature fairly quickly..?
