Tarth Island - proper CURRENCY, Roleplay

Project Tarth is seeking new and experienced role-players to join our new community. We are hoping to provide a solid setting that promotes interaction among friends and strangers alike.

Our server is opened without a password, and we invite anyone interested to check out our group on Steam at http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Tarth . The server can be direct connected at ip 64.31.1.194:40760

FEATURES
    Mid to slow level progression

    A landscape riddled with remnants of old settlements for players to explore, salvage or claim

    64 player slots

    A proper Currency system, with automated daily pay

    Friendly staff

    Gm's who will place foundations in ways players are unable, provided requests are reasonable

    GM run events and NPC's for diversity and story

    Potential skill ups and rewards based on GM witnessed Roleplay

Hidden backstory to be uncovered through plots and stories by those who seek to learn. With in game races assigned to real life counterparts. The Gottlund race will be roughly based on the medieval Greeks, the Slavard race on the Celts, and the Khoors shall hail from the sands of Egypt.

While the server is capable of handling 64 players, we would be equally as pleased having half that number of like minded players, who seek to enjoy an immersive style of play.

Lastly, while the admins and GM's seek to enforce the rules and have reasons for what we have in place, we will strive to listen to players and consider making changes that can benefit the growth of our community as a whole.

Project Tarth is live and player numbers are growing. There are still lots of open lands to be claimed or explored.

We are introducing a new system here within the week...

Currency System:

Within the next couple of days we plan to have ready a system that automates the generation of gold coins in everyones inventory on a daily basis. The planned system will run nightly around midnight/1 AM Pacific Time. During this time the database will be automatically updated to add approx 15 gold coins to your character inventory. All you will need to do is log out an back in for it to appear in game. To facilitate this process, shortly after the database is updated the server will reset allowing for the clearing of any potential issues.

What this means to you....

Every day you will receive approx 15 gold coins as In character pay. All you do is log in and collect.

From this you can determine the value of goods as they pertain to you, your available time, and the work you put into making or harvesting the goods.

A player Economy can evolve, with inflation caused by supply and demand. Folk can afford to hire help with assorted tasks and much more.

With this introduction we plan to implement a script that will prevent multiple characters on the same account to prevent simply creating a bunch of alts to dump coins on your main character.
