Kiln eating clay

Post by Kenwlanjunk » 21 Oct 2014, 15:21

Just reported this as a bug. Tried this on different kilns.

Lighting a kiln then placing clay, say 50 units in kiln, after a few seconds the clay disappears.

Also happens when you put the clay in, then light the kiln. It went away when I first used the billows. Also just after a short while in the kiln it went away by itself. Makes making mortar a bitch.

-Derp moment. I was reading sand on the recipe but for some reason kept putting in clay. Thanks for taking my head out of you know where, lol.

Mortar is sand, rock, and flux.

working as intended. Right click and "mold" the clay before putting it into the kiln. Lots of folks, including me when I started, messed that up.

I know I did. Forgot about that step.

Yeah, try baking a bunch of random clay... you get crumbs of nothingness. Sounds pretty spot on to me!

Actually, it probably shouldn't just eat it, since it is a game of resources in part. Just does fit in with reality a little.
