Hello, i would like to start my own server. Im looking for host recommendations from people with experience.

i made a small research and was ready to go with games servers. To there site they do not mention anything about ddos. i just found here http://nazeboo.com/server-hosting/life- ... r-hosting/ that games servers don't offer ddos. Is this valid? Is ddos very important?
