Introducing the Order of the Ancient Flame, a newly formed monastic-themed guild that will be playing on the NA server for the OBT release Nov 17th. The Order is a lite-RP and PvP community that uses the backdrop of a monastic order to organize members and events. The Order is small but growing community, founded by older, mature guild leaders with years of experience organizing groups in other games and hundreds of hours in LiF: YO.
Lite-RP means leave your funny voices at home, but bring your creative naming. Role-play elements will be part of interactions with other clans, and internal events coordinated to get the community engaged and entertained. Role-play is intended to break up the monotony of work but is not the main reason to play. Members are encouraged to take the monastic theme of the community to help them enjoy the game, but are discouraged from overusing or abusing it.

Pre-launch meetings are scheduled prior to the OBT to discuss guild organization and general launch plans, and a few of us are currently playing in a low skill multiplier YO server, as well. A couple of our members are EU based, however we will be playing on the NA server come launch. Having a microphone and Discord is required.
We strive for a relaxed structured gameplay through teamwork and communal goals. Teamwork is the key to fun, and maturity is the key to teamwork.
We understand some people want to play LiF more hermit-style. We encourage these types of players to join as an Oblate of the Order. Oblates are independent craftsmen that live on personal claims in and around our community that we support with trading, construction, and leveling, as needed. These citizens are followers of the Faith and under the protection of the Order. Join up just like in the recruitment section above and just say you are interested in being an Oblate in the short application.
