it already can only be used once per 24 hour period, but you can activate it any time withing that 24 hours...
i dont think i understand the issue here.

What would it hurt to have it set so that once a day (not 24 hours, but from 12:00AM to 11:59PM) you can activate it when ever you want.
Sometimes people work, get home at 6PM, get their hour to play then, then the next day they get home at 3PM and only get an hour or two at that point, so they can't get their boon because it's on cooldown until 6PM.
I don't see why anyone would care when it's used once a day as long as there is a limit to once a day. Seems a little overly controlling to say this is a bad idea.
"Play the way I can, or don't get your benefit!"
Seems a little over the top eh?

It just comes down to proper planning. Yesterday I didnt use my crafting or combat power hour. Was busy with other things and wasnt able to.
Was I upset by it, no, I can do it today at anytime if I wanted.

Why limit it to a 24 hour period, what is the benefit to that?
You seem to have a lot of spare time to play, so it's not important for you to get as far as you can in the limited time you have. That isn't the case for many others.

Because that way it is "fair" for everyone.
Not just people who have no lives and can be on every a day "ticks".
I know it doesnt seem like it, but if everyone is limited the same way then it is even thus fair.
If your real life schedule prevents you from using it, that isnt the developers fault, that is life. I know there are weeks during the year I cant even get near a computer, because i do medieval recreation things.... no computers in the middle ages.
I accept these things, but I shouldnt ask a developer to change the game to adapt to my lifestyle.
