I am going to pretty much paste what I posted on the Life is Feudal subreddit with a few changes. I'll link to the post at the end.
Post is quoted below :
My guild and I are at war with a neighbouring guild. We can't eradicate their claims until the siege mechanics are out, so we have just been PvP'ing.
Members of their guild will leave their guild moments before a fight, so that you will be losing alignment if they die.
'Members' of their guild are given full permissions to do whatever they need within the guilds claims, while not actually being in the guild, and run around gathering and doing whatever they like, without the fear of dying, as we would lose massive amounts of alignment. We usually just knock them out for a bit.
When we do kill them, they brag about how they won't lose any skills because they've bought skills insurance (I'm unaware how much this reduces skill loss, but I hope you can't just pay your way out of death consequences).
One of their members who had left the guild attacked me on their land, he made the first hit, and I still took alignment loss when I killed him. As far as I'm aware, this must have been a bug, as they should usually get criminal status and become an alignment-free kill.
We took screenshots and messaged the GMs through discord, but were told that this is not against the rules.
We're not bandits, we don't kill innocent people, and yet we're now all balls deep into negative alignments, which really f*cking sucks.
Hopefully the siege system makes this less cancerous and there is a system put into place to stop such easy abuse of the guild and alignment systems.
I'll be recording interactions with them from now on.
I've really been enjoying the game, but this abuse is absurd.
I'm not too upset because this is the beta, but would really appreciate some action on this at some point soon, as my character is pretty screwed and I'm not a bandit whatsoever, just partaking in a war for my guild and getting f*cked over by exploiters.
