I just unlocked forestry and decided to gather a few hazel sprouts in order to plant them for levelling.

Now that I have a bunch of hazel sprouts, I went to go plant them next to a hazel tree, assuming that would be where I could place one if anywhere. However, I can't; there is no option to plant any tree when I right click the ground.

Does anyone know why I can't plant these hazel trees? Any and all help would be great.

Did you check the soil?

I did, but I don't quite know what I'm looking for in the soil. I tried with 30 quality fertilised soil and below.

EDIT: Found out the issue! It has to be forest soil for it to work, not fertilized.
