I just made a character ,and got bit by a wolf. How can I heal myself ? My character is literally a few hours old ?

You wait for your health to regen. If you were wounded, you wait for the wound to heal and then wait for your health to regen.

For those of us that are playing single player on local server only and want to raise alchemy this doesnt help. Yes we regen health over time but there needs and should be an option to heal self. If I get banged up I dont always go to the doctor.

In short you cant.

But I think for YO there should be the ability to heal ones self without GM commands.

But in the MMO no, this does not work in the greater scheme of things.

Wounds do disappear over time. Incorporating first aid into your combat build is also a good idea. Not only is it a good skill but it will help you recover from hard HP damage much faster and patch up bleeding wounds. Bandages only take nature lore and materials prep. If you don't have those 2 skills in your village then you need to join someone else as those are basic essentials.
