Thanks for taking the time to check this post n hopefully you all do something about it.... instant deconstruct on other player structures is just pure grief.
Jaxomadar wrote:Well I look at deconstruct as they put the torch to the building. Its a great way to keep competing groups behind your own. Some call it griefing others will say its a valid combat tactic.
Now as to glitch hacking I don't agree with that a mechanic that spawns you on the ground instead of the air, and one that will place 1 square away from objects would be nice.
I've played a lot of DayZ and base destruction and item theft is just a way of life.

I will not be doing any more testing till something is done about this.
Interesting making a game that caters to the griefers.
Tahannu wrote:i will agree with the mention that deconstruct is "putting the torch to something" if you name it as such .. and allow players to atempt to put out the fire .. if they are hacking it down with an axe then fine let them .. and give them a skill to do so in the skill tree so they have to train to do it like a builder has to train .. arson 101, arson 102 , etc. it is not even close to realistic to walk up to a keep and deconstruct it. in real life you might move a few stones verses what is happening in the same time frame. you could burn down a chicken coop easy enough. a wooden structure .. walk up to a skyscaper and throw a torch at it and see if it burns down in a few seconds with no rubble.

It will likely be changed once the claim system and/or destruction system is implemented.
The game is only in early alpha, there are many things wrong with it.
