Carrying Loads Vs cart and wheelbarrow

Post by Hwyranger » 06 Nov 2014, 21:31

Hello all,

As I trek through the country side, learning my way in LIF I cant help thinking of the issue of items we carry in becoming over burdened and the items we make. To be more specific,

The making of the Cart and wheelbarrow in comparison to the items which one can carry,
Currently my Toon can carry up to a 146 stones, yet can overburden himself up to 290 stones, which is almost twice his limit.

Now when we make a wheelbarrow and cart (which we can only carry, unlike the plow) we can use these tools, yet we do not receive a true benefit when it comes to the load ratio between what you can carry verses the cart/wheelbarrow.

Currently a cart can hold up to 120 stones and the wheel barrow only holds up to 60 stones. These load limits need to be adjusted to a more realistic stone limit. One should be able to carry greater weights when using these tools. If not, why make them or even use them?

Taking into account one person can carry up to a max of 290 stones of weight, One would think a wheelbarrow or even a cart should be able to carry twice the amount, such as 600 stones with no other changes to his/her performance.

Just my thoughts. Thank you all for your time.

Yeah they do need to re-look at the object capacity. One of my characters can carry 180 then overburden to 360, but my small warehouse only holds 600. If they they were to just hit all objects (except for the magical bags of holding) with a x10 multiplier it would be better. I guess Furnace, Kiln, and Bloomery could be increased or left alone. Personally I'd like for them to get a slight increase too.

And speaking of small warehouses, it would be stupid to have a cart or wheel barrel carry as much or more than a small warehouse can hold... The small warehouse really needs a higher limit on how much it can hold... 600 for a small vs 10000 for a large, it should be around 2500 if you consider the amount of blocks vs the large WH.
