Suggestion -- Silk Filaments

Post by Rjmspoel » 19 Nov 2014, 00:53

Would it be possible to add the cocoon peeling for silk filaments went to autocraft, I have 16 Mulberry trees which resembles , 16x25=400 cocoons, now everytime I convert those into the Silk Filaments and have to click the mouse button 400 times :( to eventually receive 400 Silk Filaments, then I have to click the spinning wheel 80 times to receive 80 Silk threads, which then convert to 3 x 25 = 3 silk cloths.

Say that one more time but this time with details, and pretend I'm a 5 year old who knows nothing about computers...

Easier said than done in this day and age, 5 year olds know more about computers than many adults now.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/autokeyclicker/

Most of the guys on my server use that. It is simple and barebones but for that sort of thing it works wonders. You can map the key to E or left or right click. As long as your don't bump the mouse, it should work for separating silk filaments.

However, I regard this is an interim solution.

In the long run, ALL tedious repetitive actions in the game should include a "auto-crafting" in game option.

It is an auto clicker program. You can have it set to double click what ever the mouse is hovering over. Works great for a lot of the crafting that does not have auto crafting options. There are several of them available.

And yes, count it as a temp fix, until they put more auto crafting options in the game for the boring repetitive tasks.

Exactly. Run Autoclicker, set gather plant as default, set Autoclicker to 2500 millisecond interval, and key to "e." Lock you guy facing down on a tile of grass, turn autoclicker on (generally F3 for the version we use). Go walk the dog, have dinner with the wife, plant those roses she has been asking you to plant, wash your car, do your taxes, etc.

. . . come back, you'll have ~300 grass fibers :D

Don't stay away so long you starve though.

Also comes with a downside: ripe target for bandits.

Why fund it when it is available in many different programs?

Started the program came back after college classes were over to 1.3k fibers. Works great. I just set mine to a double click function, so it does what ever the default action is.

Works really good on high quality oak trees with 120 branches as well. Basically any task that can be set to activate by a double click, it will work for it.

Set it on an oak tree, go do laundry and get dinner ready. Come back and it's done. Gather saplings while getting coffee. And so forth.

Using autoclicker or not, I use Macro Recorder though for those hidious tasks, however, you must have the game on the foreground at all times.

Still they should have autocraft for it, that way you can even minimize the game of you have the guts for it
