We are cleaning forum from these spambots everyday. Our web developer is working on some anti-bot script.

Have a lawyer contact the owner of the websites or business they are supposed to be representing, especially if it is violation of the forum rules and terms of service agreement.

Would not mind having restricted access to the game forums, require the purchase of the game itself, and have a seperate forum that people can ask questions on, before they purchase the game. It would restrict the access the spambots to only 1 forum and make it easier to clean up, unless they want to buy the game each time to spam the main forums (and each time they are banned for it they then have to purchase the game again).

I hate when my mind starts working in crooked paths of twisted methods of control. Lol.
It does not matter who is the strongest fighter, just the last one standing.

All this spam, where are the moderators?

Post by Balax » 07 Dec 2014, 09:29

This forum is getting flooded by idiot spam as you all have noticed, and it takes absolutely hours before anything is done about it, which makes the forum as unappealing as the spam itself.

If this is to be a functioning forum then this needs to be adressed.

Please clean up this mess, because I find it hard to take this seriously as it is now.

Thank you.

Seriously, I had to go to page 6 to get past all the spam. This is now an everyday occurrence, which makes one wonder if anything is being done about it...
There are people who come here to check out the game and learn more info, wouldn't want this to be their first impression

Gotta ban the guy spamming.. then I suggest adding an extra security layer to the acccount subscription on the forums, so robots do not get past

If you make any forum spam-proof, the universe invents better spammers.

BTW these bots are either looking for Lif groups or take forum links from this forum as I saw them spreading in similar way on our serwer forum.

I wish someoen would just add CAPTCHA below every post... .
